is a user led charity supporting gay men living with HIV in the NW of England.
We run themed residential events where participants can explore their stories, gain mutual support and develop personal strategies for living well with HIV.
We went Go Ape in Rivington to tackle their tree-top challenge followed by a picnic in the grounds. What a challenge!
We are pleased to announce that we have been awarded grants from the Lottery Community Fund and from Magic Little Grants. These grants are to run two residential events to try out some adventure activities. More details to be posted shortly…
During Summer 2021 we ran two residentials in Manchester entitled “My Story”. We were lucky to have HIV+ theatre-maker and activist Nathaniel Hall facilitate 2 residential weekends to explore storytelling as a way to explore and share your story of living with HIV. The workshops were a supportive and safe environment to reflect on individual journeys with HIV, exploring similarities and differences and tackle shame and self-stigma head on.
In Autumn we held a residential workshop in Manchester to explore ideas to help combat loneliness in gay men living with HIV.
